Q - I wanted to profile my scanner with i1Match, but any time I select "scanner," the software requires license code. Where can I find this code.

A - Your i1Match package apparently does not include scanner profiling. If you need this i1Match option, you will need to purchase the optional scanner module.

You can order the scanner module at any dealer. Give them the serial number of your i1 device. You will then get a license code.

To install the new code, download i1 Diagnostics from http://www.xrite.com. After installing i1 Diagnostics, attach your i1 instrument and start the program. Note the Option "Service," which gives access to "License update".

Enter the License Code by copying and pasting it from the email received, then push the "Unlock" button. You will then be able to use the purchased option in the i1Match software.
