++i1Pro Instrument not detected on MacThere is a known conflict with i1Pro Rev D instruments running on MacOS X 10.5 which appears to be caused by some HP printer drivers. This conflict will cause your i1Pro to fail to be detected by i1Match or i1Diagnostics, although it is present in the System Profiler.
To resolve this problem, you will need to remove your HP printer driver. If your printer includes an uninstaller, you can use that. Otherwise, you will need to manually remove the HP application, preferences and frameworks. You can also use an uninstaller utility like AppZapper to eliminate these components. If you continue to experience a problem, send your system profiler document to cmsupport@xrite.com so we can identify the remaining HP printer driver components and help you to remove them.
Installations using the HP printer drivers supplied by Apple will not cause this conflict.
Once you have removed your HP drivers, restart your Mac, then rebuild the Disk Permissions for your startup disk with Apple's Disk Utility software.
