-Screen Looks too Dim after Calibration with huey

During calibration, huey creates a set of correction curves that balance your monitor's red, green, and blue signals to create a more neutral color balance and to set a numerically defined contrast. huey cannot make the monitor brighter; it can only dim channels relative to one another. So, even though the monitor may appear dimmer than it did before calibration, it is still displaying balanced, repeatable color and contrast.

If your monitor looks too dim after calibrating, you might want to set a higher brightness level before calibrating.
