+Installing i1Profiler Software on MacInstalling i1Profiler Software Suite on a Mac
Before you install the i1Profiler Software suite, please review the
required system environment. To install the i1Profiler Software Suite from a DVD or from a Download, follow the steps below.
Installing from a DVD
- Disconnect measurement devices and dongles
- Insert the i1Profiler software into the DVD drive
- Double-click on the CD/DVD icon that appears on the desktop
- Double-click on the i1Profiler.mpkg file to start the installation
- follow the on-screen instructions...
- Read and accept the Software License Agreement
- Select the volume on which the software should be installed (the complete software suite takes a bit more than 1 GB)
- Select, what additional software you want to install (ColorChecker Passport, PANTONE Color Manager)
- Installation starts*...
- Restart after installation is not required, but recommended
- Connect your measurement instruments and/or dongle
- If you need to upgrade your i1Pro or dongle with the full i1Publish license,
click here for instructions
*Note: the software will automatically be installed in the same language, to which your macOS is set. If it is set to a language, which is not supported by i1Profiler software suite, it will be installed in English.
Installing from a Download
- Latest i1Profiler software suite can be
downloaded here
- Disconnect measurement devices and dongles
- Double-click on the downloaded ZIP file to extract it
- Double-click on the i1Profiler.mpkg file to start the installation
- follow the on-screen instructions...
- Read and accept the Software License Agreement
- Select the volume on which the software should be installed (the complete software suite takes a bit more than 1 GB)
- Select, what additional software you want to install (ColorChecker Passport, PANTONE Color Manager)
- Installation starts*...
- Restart after installation is not required, but recommended
- Connect your measurement instruments and/or dongle
