When installing the i1Display Pro application (i1Profiler), be aware of the following:

• Administrative rights are required to install and uninstall the software.
• Do not connect the measurement device until the software installation is complete. 

Macintosh Installation:

1. Insert the installation DVD into the computer’s DVD drive.  An “i1Profiler” DVD icon will appear on the computer’s desktop.
2. Double click the “i1Profiler” DVD icon to view the contents of the DVD.
3. Double click the “i1Profiler” installer package (should look like an opened cardboard box) to begin the installation.
4. Follow all onscreen prompts to complete the software installation.
5. After the software is completely installed, remove the DVD, plug in the i1Display Pro measurement device, and open the i1Profiler software located in the Applications folder.
6. The software registration window will open.  Please see the Related Support article at the bottom of this page for assistance with registering.

Windows Installation:

1. Insert the installation DVD into the computer’s DVD drive.  The installer should auto run.  If not, go to “Computer” or “My Computer” and double click the DVD drive (should say: “i1Profiler”).
2. If prompted with an “AutoPlay” window (Windows Vista and Windows 7 only), select “Run Setup.exe” to start the installer.
3. Select the language and follow the onscreen prompts to complete the installation. The “Select Components” screen will allow the user to install additional components like “Pantone Color Manager” along with i1Profiler.
4. Microsoft .NET Framework version 4 is required for this program to run properly.  If prompted to download and install, please do so.  If not prompted, the proper version of .NET is already installed.
5. After installation is complete, the computer will need to be restarted.
6. Remove the DVD, plug in the i1Display Pro measurement device, and the driver will install automatically.  After the driver is installed, open the program by going to: Windows Start > X-Rite > i1Profiler > i1Profiler.
