i1Match uses a pattern of gray and white patches to determine where your i1 hardware is positioned. If your monitor is too bright the detection might fail and you will receive an error stating "Position Detection Failed". If this happens, choose to continue anyway. The software will just fill the screen with the color patches rather than placing them directly under your hardware.
