Sanjay Nanda
FineArt Photographer
Sanjay Nanda started professionally as a graphic designer. This involved planning, development, design and implementation of a broad range of visual communication projects spanning the disciplines of design and advertising. Starting from a time when the complete design, layout and print production process was done manually, he has over the years seen the evolution of the graphic arts industry to a fully digital colour managed workflow.
As part of his profession, he was exposed to photography, which he passionately explored and now pursues as a fine art photographer. His experience as a visual designer helps him see beauty in mundane things. In his images he likes to use the interplay of light, textures, and colours to create unusual and complex forms that seduce the viewer. He has the ability to extract beauty out of ordinary surroundings and convert them into visually appealing images and at the same time using concepts and techniques that are grounded in the domain of fine art. His artworks adorn the walls of many residential and commercial interiors and are also part of various private collections. http://www.indipiximages.com/indipix-gallery-collections.html
With the advent of digital printing, Sanjay Nanda set up a HP-Preferred FineArt Digital PrintMaking Studio to print artworks on a wide range of paper and canvas media using colour managed workflows. The studio is equipped with HP Z-series photo printers fitted with i1 COLOR spectrophotometers, wide gamut monitors, digital cameras for capturing art, etc. It regularly executes exclusive artwork production orders for photographers, interior designers, digital artists, art retailers, and premium institutions.
Today, Sanjay Nanda manages IndiPix, an artist-run space that is involved in everything to do with photography: Digital Photography, FineArt Printing, Photo and Digital Art Shows, Art Reproduction, Photo Talks/Workshops, and Photo Tours. http://www.indipiximages.com
