Q: I just calibrated my LCD, scanner, and printer and using my new printer profile. I then printed a photo which turned out to have a highly magenta cast. The preview mode on my Mac also shows a highly magenta result. What is the problem? I usually print digital photos- working space is from the camera rgb and when I print I insert my printer profile.

A: Keep in mind that you will not need to assign a scanner profile. Instead you should preserve the profile that your camera attaches to your images. You will use that profile as your source space and then convert to your printer profile.
