Q: I have taped the IT8 and the printer target on a letter size piece of paper and when scanned, the black angle brackets show around the IT8 and they are not seen around the printer target. I am at a loss as to where to click and put the brackets manually around the printer target. All that is visible around this target is the white area of the paper and I click next arrow the error message appears saying the cropping marks are incorrect.

A: Your scan does not contain the entire printer target including the dashed line. This is why you are experiencing difficulty. You must print out and scan the entire target, not just a portion of it.
