-Warning: Gamma Required is Not Compatible with Your Video CardQ: I am using a ViewSonic Professional Series monitor P225f , ATI Video Board Radion 9200 series, P4 system running XP Pro, all of which are over a year old. I just tried to recalibrate my monitor using MonacoOPTIX and MonacoEZcolor version 2.5. As usual, instructions have been followed carefully. After the colors are calibrated, I have repeatedly received the following message; "Warning: The gamma required is not compatible with your video card. Try changing the white point selections". I have always set the white point to 6500K. I tried 9300K and got the same result. This has happened repeatedly. Each series of calibration attempts now results in the same error message. To my knowledge, nothing has changed in my system. What is wrong? Monaco has never failed me before.
A: ATI has recently issued a driver update which fixes this problem. ( They show a fix for Adobe Gamma in their fixes list ). Click Here to jump to ATI's driver support download facility.
