The patch installer at the link below fixes the crash issue with the ColorPicker application in ColorMunki Photo on Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.  The crash is happening as the palette colors are converted from LAB to the display's color space. This conversion was supported with no issues on all previous versions of Mac operating systems. X-Rite has opened an issue with Apple tech support and they are investigating this matter. 

To resolve this Photo ColorPicker crash on Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11, please do the following:

1. Close all programs (especially ColorMunki Photo) and unplug your CM Photo device. 
2. Download and install the X-Rite patch for ColorMunki from the link below.
3. Restart your computer, plug in the CM Photo device, open CM Photo 1.2.1, and test.  The Photo ColorPicker application should no longer crash.
