+Saving a Target Out of ColorMunki For a Lab - Troubleshooter

The ColorMunki software was designed around a workflow where the photographer is imaging his or her own photographs. As such the software does dot incorporate the ability to save and distribute the target to an offsite vendor. Part of the reason for this is that the software uses an iterative approach to building a profile. A target is imaged and measured, then based upon the results of this measurement a second target can be imaged and measured to increase the accuracy of the profile. Further iterations can be made using patch sets generated from photographs of your choosing. This allows us to build very good profiles using targets with very few patches. The downside is that a remote imaging workflow would become slow and cumbersome.

It is also not possible to save the target for imaging on any other device not directly connected to the computer.
