A patch set is a series of color patches used to reveal the color behavior of your display.
The color patches in a patch set are used to produce a wide variety or colors that, when measured, provide i1Profiler with the information it needs build an accurate color map of your display.

i1Profiler provides a default patch set that is optimized to create an accurate color description of your display. You may also wish to add patches from spot-colors, or patches from a digital image to improve the precision of specific colors on your display.  This is part of the Advanced options.

Use the control area on the left to either import patches using a Pantone Color Manager color palette, or to auto-extract color patches from a custom digital image.
