The ColorFlare RIP was previously manufactured by UFO Systems. At that time the RIP was designed for the calibration of the Xerox DocuColor 40 only.
ColorFlare is now owned and manufactured by AHT. The product has been greatly expanded and includes support for over 40 printers including Canon, Minolta, Danka/Kodak, Konica, Lanier, Mita, Oce, Pitney/Bowes, Ricoh, Savin, Sharp, and Toshiba as well as Xerox.
In addition to calibration it allows the creation of ICC profiles for accurate, consistent color.
