The following procedure resets your instrument to the factory default settings.

1. Disconnect the instrument from the computer and power adapter (if applicable).

2. With the instrument in the power down mode, press and hold the Operation button.

3. Slide the power switch at the back of the instrument to the on (right) and then release.

4. Release the Operation button. The indicator light flashes green and then returns to a solid green. The factory defaults are reset and the instrument is ready to read.

After completing the reset procedure the instrument should be calibrated.
